I help build judgment about technology:
in boardrooms, and with teenagers.

For boards, I help make better decisions on cybersecurity, AI, governance and digital risk, through structured reviews, targeted advisory and board-level simulations grounded in NIS2, DORA and real board practice. The goal is not compliance. It is companies that are more sustainable, resilient, and inclusive.

For teenagers, I co-founded CríticaMente.ai, where small groups meet weekly, live with a mentor, to work through phones, social media, AI and peer pressure, and learn to reach their own judgment.

These look like two very different audiences in two very different rooms, and they are. But the problem underneath is the same one: technology is deciding for people who never chose to let it. What I am actually working on, in both rooms, is agency. The capacity to understand what is happening, decide for yourself, and act on it.

About me

Board Advisor. Professor. Builder.

I spent 26 years at a leading global telecom provider, holding roles from IT security up to IT EMEA — running 100-person regional teams, managing up to €120M budgets, and co-designing global learning programmes for 24,000 people. Since November 2023 I have worked independently, going deeper on what I care about most: governance, education, cybersecurity, innovation, and AI.

Today I advise boards navigating the new innovation reality and regulatory landscape, teach at IE Business School, and build AI-powered ventures — including NIS2MM, a Governance-as-a-Service platform for board-level cyber oversight, and CríticaMente.ai, where teenagers learn to reach their own judgment about technology.

Teaching and building with AI, I always return to the same idea: AI is a cognitive amplifier, not a replacement. Every session and every decision is ultimately about you, your thinking, your judgment. Keeping that judgment yours is the whole point. It is what I mean by agency, and it shapes everything I build and advise.

CríticaMente.ai

Critical thinking for the AI generation. Groups of six to eight teenagers aged 10 to 15 meet 45 minutes a week, live with a mentor, to work through phones, social media, AI and peer pressure. Not rules handed down — their own judgment, practised out loud. Parents get practical language for home. Pilot ran May to June 2026 with 20 teenagers across two schools in Madrid.

How I build

Not a developer by training — by conviction. Shipping real products since Summer 2025 using Claude Code, Python · FastAPI, React · Vite · Next.js, Supabase, Vercel. Local LLMs for sensitive board data. The point is not the stack — the point is closing the gap between the tools that exist and the tools governance actually needs.
